Kim Krize Bohlke began her basketball career in Fairbanks, Alaska, when she joined the "Little Dribblers" youth basketball program. "My dad was my first Little Dribblers coach and helped me with the fundamentals of basketball."

Kim graduated from Horace Mann High School in Biwabik, Minn., and attended one year at Mesabi Community College, Virginia, Minn., before transferring to CSB. At Mesabi, Kim averaged 22 points and 11.6 rebounds per game, and then brought this strong contribution to the Blazer basketball program.

From 1985-88 Kim was leader on the court. She was the team's Most Valuable Player each year, MIAC All-Conference and Academic All-Conference. During her junior and senior year, she was on the Kodak Region Team and a team captain. In 1987-88, Kim was the first CSB student athlete to receive the school's Presidential Award.
Kim ended her career at CSB with 1,149 points, 167 assists, 140 steals and as of 1996, continued to hold the record for 799 rebounds.

Besides being outstanding on the court, Kim was terrific in the classroom.

She received the Alworth Academic Scholarship all three years and was a dean's list member. She graduated with a bachelor of arts in mathematics.

Kim was also involved in other extracurricular activities. Besides athletics, she was a member of VISTO, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Math Society.

Some of Kim's fondest recollections of CSB sports were "being part of a team, representing the College of Saint Benedict, and making good friends."

After Saint Benedict's, Kim worked as a computer programmer/analyst at West Publishing Company from 1988-93. In 1993 she obtained her real estate license and as of 1996 was employed as a new home specialist and designer with M.W. Johnson Construction in Lakeville, Minn.

Kim and her husband, Joe, reside in Lakeville, Minn. They have one child.
