Even though Jennifer M. Nash was the youngest inductee in 1992, her contributions to the Blazer athletic program were quite significant.

Jennifer graduated from CSB in 1986 with a bachelor of arts degree in theology and a minor in secondary education. She established standards of excellence that other Blazer athletes would attempt to copy.

Nash especially displayed her excellence on the hardwood. As a member of the basketball team for three years, she was named the team's most valuable player each year (1983, 84 and 85) and was an All-conference performer three years  as well. Jennifer became CSB's first player to score 1,000 points (1,071) during her career, and as of 1992 held the record for the most points in a game with 39 against Viterbo College. Her abilities went beyond scoring; she was also second on the career list of steals with 142, and third in career assists with 259.

In 1983-84, Nash and her teammates won the Midwestern Women's Collegiate Conference and then repeated, tying for the MWCC title the following season. She scored 445 points in 84-85, which was the top on the team, and grabbed 143 rebounds.

Nash's two fondest memories surround the construction of Claire Lynch Hall, and winning the conference championship. "I remember that just practicing in the new gym the first time was exciting," she said. "I also remember winning the MWCC Tournament in 1984 against Concordia St. Paul. We came back to win after trailing by 18 points in the second half."

While at CSB Jennifer competed on the Blazer softball team her junior season and was twice selected CSB's Athlete of the year. She was also involved with the Campus Ministry Team as a Eucharistic minister and participated in intramural volleyball and softball.

In December of 1991 she received a masters degree in psychology at St. Mary's College in Winona, and was employed by the St. Paul Clinic Psychology. Jennifer is single and resides in St. Paul, Minn.
