CSB Track and Field records 3 All-MIAC performances & sits 4th at MIAC Indoor T&F Championships

Ahlberg wins title while Berg and Floren record All-MIAC performances

COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. – With three more All-MIAC performances, including a pole vault title by junior Jaylyn Ahlberg, the College of Saint Benedict track and field team is fourth with 52 points at the MIAC Indoor Track and Field Championships which continued on Friday at the Donald McNeely Spectrum.

Now with four All-MIAC performances, including two by senior Justus Floren (pentathlon, 60-meter hurdles) and one by Ahlberg (pole vault) and Lauren Berg (800-meter), CSB is just five points out of second place in the team standings. Bethel has 88 points to lead the competition among 12 MIAC schools. Concordia is second in the team standings with 57 points and followed by St. Olaf, third, 55; CSB, fourth, 52; and Gustavus, fifth, 51.5. Aside from the All-MIAC performances, the Bennies had four program top-10 marks on Friday.

 For the 3rd straight MIAC Track and Field Championship, Ahlberg won the pole vault title, recording a season-best & 34th best DIII vault of 3.56M - 11-08.00. It is her second straight MIAC indoor crown and her fifth win in the event in 2025. Also scoring points in the event for CSB was sophomore Lili Raidt who was fifth in 3.26M – 10-08.25.

Floren, who scored 3,281 points to finish second and earn All-MIAC honors in the pentathlon on Thursday, added to her to her growing list of honors by finishing second in the 60-meter hurdles with a clocking of 9.19, which ranks third indoors all-time at CSB. It is Floren's second top three mark all-time at CSB at the championships after her performance in the long jump at the pentathlon (5.52M-18-01). Also scoring points in the hurdles was sophomore Anya Adelgren who clocked 9.89 for eighth place.

CSB had a third all-MIAC performance today as junior Lauren Berg was second in the 800-meters by clocking 2:17.65, a personal-best mark that ranks fourth all-time at CSB. Sophomore Taylor Radaich also had a career-best in the 800-meter with a clocking of 2:20.00, an indoor mark that ranks ninth in school history.

CSB's distance medley relay earned honorable mention All-MIAC honors after finishing fourth in 12:49.46 with a squad of Lucy Lyngen, Emerson Knapp, Anabella Witschen, and Kalli Smith.  

First-year sprinter Ava Revoir placed eighth in the 400-meter with a career-best clocking of 59.90. Revoir's mark ranks eighth best indoors at CSB all-time.

Junior Mary Kenney placed seventh in the 5,000-meters with a season-best time of 18:35.67.

Sophomore Sabriya Farquharson placed eighth in the long jump at 5.13M - 16-10,00 to gve CSB points in that field event.

The 2025 MIAC Indoor Track & Field Championships will conclude on Saturday. The meet's final session starts with field events at noon. Track events will begin at 1:00 p.m.
