Berg and Kenney Recognized as USTFCCCA All-Region

NEW ORLEANS – Seniors Lauren Berg (Bemidji, Minn.) and Mary Kenney (Saint Paul, Minn.) earned All-Region honors for the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field season, as announced recently by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

All-Region recognition is awarded to the top-eight individuals in each event from each region based on the year-end Athletic.net Descending Order Lists, along with members of the top-eight relay teams in each region. The regions include the Great Lakes, Metro, Mid-Atlantic, Mideast, Midwest, Niagara, North, Northeast, South and West.

Berg, who competed at the NCAA Division III Championships on Thursday, earned All-Region honors in the 400-meter hurdles after placing second and setting a school record at the MIAC Outdoor Track and FIeld Championships. Berg crossed the finish line in 1:01.49, breaking her own program record. She finished the regular season ranked 18th nationally in NCAA Division III and fifth in the North Region.

Competing in her first NCAA Division III Championships appearance in La Crosse, Wis., Berg moved up three spots from her national ranking in the preliminary round. The senior clocked a time of 1:02.29 to finish 15th overall and earn second-team All-America honors in the 400-meter hurdles. Her finish marked the highest ever by a CSB athlete in the event at the national meet.

Berg concluded her career with 16 All-MIAC and honorable mention All-MIAC honors. She won 27 career titles, added 16 runner-up finishes and recorded 76 top-four finishes individually or as part of a relay team for CSB. In the 400-meter hurdles alone, Berg posted 22 top-four finishes, including seven victories and 12 overall top-two performances.

Kenney earned All-Region honors in the 3,000-meter steeplechase following a standout performance at the MIAC Outdoor Championships. In winning the conference title and earning All-MIAC honors, Kenney broke the school record and set a facility mark with a time of 10:56.27. Her mark ranked 34th nationally in Division III and fourth in the North Region.

Kenney also earned honorable mention All-MIAC honors in the 5,000 meters in 2026 after posting a time of 18:07.60. She added All-MIAC honors in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 2025 after finishing third. During her career, Kenney collected seven titles, 14 top-two finishes and 27 top-four performances.
