2024: INDOOR: Named MIAC Indoor Field Athlete of the Week on 1/23 … named CSB Athlete of the Week on 1/29 and 1/22 … competed in eight meets and recorded eight top-five finishes as a sophomore … competed in the MIAC Indoor Championships, taking first place in the pole vault with a career-best mark of 3.76m (12’4.25”) (2
nd All-Time CSB History) … earned All-MIAC honors for her win in the pole vault ... took 1
st place in the Cobber Indoor Open with a pole vault mark of 3.55m (11’8”) … won the pole vault with a mark of 3.61m (11’10.25”) at the CSB/SJU Alumni Meet … took 1

High School: A 2022 graduate of Mounds View High School, Ahlberg participated in dance and gymnastics for 4 years and track and field for 3 years. Her accomplishments in dance include, being a Senior Dance Captain in 2022, and earning 4 varsity letters. Her achievements in gymnastics include, receiving 4 varsity letters, earning All-Conference in 2022, All-State Bars in 2022, All-State Honorable Mention in vault, floor, all-around, and beam in 2021, and earning 2022 Sections 4AA bars and 2022 Sections 4AA beam. Her accomplishments in track and field include, being named Pole Vault Conference Champion in 2022, earning All-Conference Awards in 2021 and 2022, being named Pole Vault True Team Sections Champion in 2022, placing third in the 2022 Minnesota State Track and Field Championships, and receiving an All-State Award in 2022. She also earned 4 Academic Awards. Her proudest moment in her track and field career was being named to the All-Conference Rookie Team during her first year of college.
Personal: The daughter of Jamie and Nicholas Ahlberg, Jaylyn has two siblings: Jayda and Joceilyn. In her free time she likes to draw. Jaylyn is majoring in Exercise Science at CSB. She likes being a collegiate student-athlete because it helps her to become the best version of herself. It teaches her to be a well-balanced person and also allows her to be part of a community at St. Benedict.
