Results
The College of Saint Benedict track and field team won four events - three won by seniors - to help finish third with 107 points - the most scored in school history - at the MIAC Championships in St. Peter, Minn. St. Thomas won the meet.
Senior
Jillian Daleiden set an NCAA provisional mark with a first place finish in the 400 meter dash in 57.26 seconds.
Molly Noel capped her strong season by winning the 1500 meter run in 4:50.58.
Caitlin Schnettler won the 3000 meter steeplechase in 11:45.16. Sophomore
Danielle Busch also won an event for the Blazers in the pole vault, meeting an NCAA provisional height with 3.71 meters.
Senior Steph Kortan ended her successful championship run with an All-MIAC performance in the 400 meter hurdles, taking third with a time of 64.92 seconds. Fellow senior
Abby Neigebauer placed fourth in both the 100 and 200 meter dashes.
Along with Schnettler, the Blazers placed extremely well in the steeplechase. First-year
Kelsie Larson (fourth), sophomores
Kelsey Torchia (seventh) and
Nicola Franta (eighth) and senior
Ashley Irons (ninth) all placed in the race.

Mandy Witschen in the 400 meter hurdles (sixth), first-year

Clare Foley in the hammer throw (eighth).
**CSB Athletics Note: The 107 points scored at the 2011 MIAC Outdoor Championships was the most in program history, and remained the program record until 2017. Four individual MIAC Champions is the most for the Bennie track and field team at any conference meet, indoor or outdoor.**
