PHOENIX, Ariz. – The College of Saint Benedict golf team took advantage of warm weather in the southwest portion of the country to hit the course this week on its annual spring break trip. As well as practicing on some of the best courses in Arizona, the Blazers also competed in one dual meet with Arizona Christian University.
The Blazers kicked off the spring portion of its 2014-15 schedule Friday afternoon with a 368-328 win against ACU. Friday's round marked the first competition for CSB since the MIAC championships in October.
Seniors
Bridget Cummings and
Grace Todora paced the Blazers with 79s against Arizona Christian.
Lauren Wise shot an 82 and
Jenna Traut carded an 88. Also for Saint Benedict,
Annalise Wallerich shot a 90,
Amy Knutson finished with a 97 and Hanna Hohn shot a 106.
The Blazers return to action in Minnesota Saturday and Sunday, April 11-12, at the MIAC Open hosted by St. Thomas at Pebble Creek in Becker, Minn.
