MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Led by sophomore
Mary Morris and junior
Rachel Schlueter, the College of Saint Benedict swim and dive team turned in another strong performance with its competition at the Minnesota First Chance Meet at the Jean Freeman Aquatic Center at the University of Minnesota on Saturday.
CSB used this competition to prep for the MIAC Swim and Dive Championships on Feb. 17-22 in Minneapolis.
In the relays, CSB had a pair of top eight finishes, including placing third in the 400 medley relay with a squad of
Rachel Schlueter,
Megan Bartels,
Claire Canfield and
Mary Morris.
In the 400 free relay, CSB placed eighth by clocking 3:49.27 with a squad of
Liz Hansen,
Claire Canfield,
Rachel Schlueter and
Mary Morris.
Morris also had a strong swim in the 400 IM by finishing eighth with a clocking of 4:58.16. Sophomore
Jayda Alholm was also 13
