2024-25: Named to the College Sports Communicators' Academic All-District Team...At MIAC Championship, placed second to earn All-MIAC honors while breaking the school record in the 200 backstroke with a clocking of 2:03.90...the mark, which was just .12 out of first place, bettered the school mark of 2:04.49 by Ana Birklid in 2022....earned All-MIAC honors in the 200 free, clocking a career-best 1:55.46 in placed second...the 200 free time ranks fifth all-time in school history....placed eighth in the 50 freestyle by clocking 24.61...played a key role as the Bennies' 400 free relay picked up All-MIAC honorable mention honors by placing fourth in 3:38.16...part of the 200-freestyle relay that placed fifth and the 200-medley relay that placed sixth in 1:48.25.
2023-24: Competed in three meets, recording eight top-eight finishes … competed in the MIAC Championship, recording a career-best in the 200 Y Back (2:07.39) and competing in the 200 Y Free (1:57.18), the 50 Y Back (29.04), and the 100 Y Back (59.76) … swam on the 800 Y Free Relay at the MIAC Championships, earning 6
th place … earned All-MIAC Honorable Mention honors for her performances in the 200 Y Free and the 200 Y Backstroke ... took 4
th place in the 200 Y Free (2:06.43) and 5
th place in the 200 Y Back (2:22.14) at the Carleton vs CSB/SJU meet … recorded a 3
rd place finish in the 100 Y Back (1:02.93) and a 6
th place finish in the 200 Y Back (2:17.80) at the Gustie Challenge.
High School: A 2022 graduate of Saint Cloud Cathedral High School...participated in swimming for six years...was also a member of the St. Croix Swim Club...earned All-State honors in 2021 and 2022, being named the St. Cloud Area Female Swimmer of the Year in 2021...set five school records for Saint Cloud Cathedral....proudest moment of her swimming career was qualifying for the state meet for the last time with her younger sister in 2021.
Personal: Daughter of Mary Kay and George Morris...has four siblings: Rebecca Morris, Sara Morris, Christopher Morris, and Gabriella Morris....hobbies include reading, traveling, and sleeping...biochemistry major at CSB.
