Morgan Stout-Season-Career Results

2023-24: Competed in nine meets, recording thirteen top-eight finishes … competed in the MIAC Championships in the 200 Y Free (2:06.19), the 500 Y Free (5:39.81), and the 1650 Y Free (20:11.66) ... won the 500 Y Free in 5:39.97 at the HAM vs CSB/SJU meet … set career bests in the 100 Y Free (58.51), the 200 Y Free (2:05.02), the 500 Y Free (5:33.82), and the 1650 Y free (19:59.85) at the Rochester Invitational. 

2022-23: Competed in six meets, recording seven top-8 finishes … took 5th place in the 500 Y Free (5:56.52) and 4th place in the 1000 Y Free (12:17.44) at the CSB vs Saint Cloud meet … finished in 4th place in both the 500 Y Free (5:53.50) and the 1000 Y Free (12:06.28), setting a career best in the 1000 Y Free at the Macalester vs SJU vs CSB meet … took 6th place in the 500 Y Free (5:51.81) at the Gustavus Invitational … recorded a pair of 4th place finishes at the SJU Invitational in the 100 Y Free (1:00.92) and the 200 Y Free (2:11.86).

High School: Stout is a 2022 graduate from Des Moines East High School. While in school, she was on the swim team for four seasons and tennis for one season. She was also a part of the East Lightening Club Swim Team. Her awards in swimming include, Most Valuable Player (2020) and Work Horse Award (2018). The proudest moment of her career so far was her team winning the Grinnell invite; it was amazing to see their hard work pay off and have amazing relays.

Personal: Morgan is the daughter of Jonna and Tim Stout. She has two siblings, Madi and Mason. Some of her hobbies include, reading, painting, and plants. At CSB she is majoring in Physics with a Civil Engineering concentration. Morgan is looking forward to being able to continue pursuing the sport she loves while having supportive teammates by her side.
