Claire Canfield-Season-Career ResultsĀ 
2024-25:
Earned Academic All-MIAC and College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors...earned three total honorable mention All-MIAC honors...alongwith the 400 free relay, placed fifth in the 200-backstroke with a career-best clocking of 2:07.26, a mark that ranks fifth all-time in CSB program history... placed fifth in the 400 IM with a time of 4:42.73, a career-best mark by Canfield, who had a second top-10 time in CSB school history with her performance ranking eighth in school history...had a standout effort in the 200 IM in which she placed seventh of 2:12.14, a season-best mark at MIAC...was a member of the 200 medley relay that placed sixth (1:48.25) at the conference meet...serves a member of CSB Student Athlete Advisory Committee.

2023-24: Competed in ten meets, recording nineteen top-eight finishes ... competed in the MIAC Championships, setting a career-best, 5th place finish in the 200 Y Back (2:07.61) and setting season-bests in the 100 Y Fly (1:04.67), the 200 Y IM (2:14.03), and the 400 Y IM (4:44.74) ... swam on the 800 Free Relay (6th) at the MIAC Championships ... earned All-MIAC Honorable Mention for her performance in the the 200 Y Back ... won the 200 Y Back in 2:18.32 at the SCSU vs SJU-CSB meet.Ā 

High School: Canfield is a 2023 graduate from Waconia High School. While in school she was a part of the swim team for six years and the lacrosse team for one year. The awards she received while a part of the swim team consisted of being a three-year captain, winning the Section Championship in the 100 backstroke, a two time All-State swimmer, a three time All-Conference swimmer, All-Conference Honorable Mention, Team MVP, three time Iron Cat, three time Wildcat Award, and being named Rookie of the Year. Canfield's proudest moment of her career was breaking the school record in the 200 IM her senior year of high school at the Section Finals.Ā 

Personal: Claire is the daughter of Kerry and Jeffrey Canfield; she has one brother named Jack Canfield. In her free time, she enjoys being outside, reading, and swimming at the lake. While at CSB, Claire is majoring in Chemistry and minoring in Environmental Studies. What she enjoys most about being a collegiate student-athlete is being a part of a community that is so accepting and supportive of each other.
