This season the Bennies has opened 1-3 but won the last matchup, 1-0, over Concordia University Wisconsin on the road on Saturday as Jenna Timm scored the game-winning goal at 12:47 of the second period. The victory snapped a three-game losing streak and provided first-year Head Coach Lindsay Macy with her first career win at CSB. In the win, sophomore Jenna Timm, an All-MIAC honoree a year ago, scored her first goal of the year and the sixth of her career. Interesting, she had her second career goal against CUW and scored this time on the same date as a year ago on Nov. 5 when she had her first career goal.

Earlier this year the Bennies had lost to CUW, 3-2, and a 4-3 overtime decision to No. 8 UW-Eau Claire at home. The Blugolds also took a 4-1 decision in the opener. Aurora Opsahl leads CSB with three goals, including two in a 4-3 OT loss to nationally ranked UW-Eau Claire. Shauna Miller, Jenna Timm, Jamie Benzie and Chloe Lewis all have goals.  In goal, both Kate Moffatt and Ally Frantzick have seen action. Frantzick, who sits 1-2-0 this year, recorded her fourth career shutout in the 1-0 win over Concordia University Wisconsin on Nov. 5. She has allowed seven goales or 2.32 per match with two power play goals while registering a team-high 54 saves in 180:59 minutes on the ice.
