CAREER-- Has played in 57 total games in her career... has scored seven goals, had six assists, and 93 shots on net, including two game winning goals. 

2023-24: Played in 25 games...ended the season with two goals, two assists, four points...had her first and only power-play goal against Concordia Moorhead...had 21 shots.  

2022-23: Played in all 26 games as a junior...finished the season with seven goals, six assists, and 93 shots. 

2021-22: Played in all 22 games as a sophomore...recorded her first career assist on Dec. 8 against Bethel...scored a career-high two goals against Saint Mary's on Nov. 20...finished the season with three goals, four assists, and 40 shots. 

2020-21: Played in eight games as a first year in a season that was shortened and played in Winter 2021 due to the COVID19 pandemic ... scored the first goal of her career on Feb. 24 against Bethel.

High School: Benzie is a 2020 graduate of Moose Lake High School where she participated in three seasons of volleyball and four seasons of both hockey and softball. Her accomplishments for hockey include Hockey Hub player of the week during her 2020 season and being named to the 2020 Girls’ Hockey All-Area Team. She also earned all-conference softball honors in 2018. Benzie’s proudest moment was making the all-area hockey team.
 
Personal: Jamie is the daughter of Tonya and Jason Benzie and she has one sibling, Josie. Some activities she enjoys doing are wakeboarding and skiing. Jamie is an exercise health science major and she is looking forward to being a collegiate student athlete because of the opportunity to continue to play hockey and receive a great education.
