MIAC Athlete of the Week | 11.18.24 - 1.8.24 - 11.28.22

2023-24: Played in 22 games and was on ice for 1,021:34 minutes, allowing 46 goals for a 2.70 goals against average...finished with 510 saves and a .917 saves percentage...recorded a 7-9-2 overall record with three shutouts.

2022-23: Played in 15 games and was on the ice for 183:18, allowing nine goals for a 2.95 goals against average...recorded 81 saves and a .900 saves percentage...had a 2-1-0 record.

2021-22: Played in four games as a first year...finished 3-1 on the season with 238 minutes played in net, recording her first win in her first start against Bethel on Dec. 8...finished the season with a 1.51 goals-against average, with 89 saves and a .937 save percentage. 

High School: Kate graduated from Lindbergh High School in 2021 and she participated in hockey and marching band for three years. She recorded the highest GPA on the hockey team as a sophomore and senior, and earned the team’s Heart and Soul Award in 2021. She was also captain of the hockey team in 2020. Her proudest moment was making it to the nationals, and she is excited about a school she loves to play a sport she loves.

Personal: Kates parents are Karen and Mark Moffat, she also has a brother, William. Kate enjoys music and reading, and she also is interested in space and history. Kate will graduate is a biochemistry major with a history minor.
