ST. JOSEPH, Minn. -- Eight members of the College of Saint Benedict hockey team have been named to the ninth annual AHCA/Krampade All-American Scholar Team, recognizing excellence on the ice and in the classroom.
Morgan Cromwell a senior from Sartell, Minn., and
Jamie Bimberg, a junior from Chanhassen, Minn., earned their third straight honor. Second-time honorees include
Mia Lopez, a junior from Plymouth, Minn.;
Aurora Opsahl, a senior from Duluth, Minn.; and
Shae Stinnett, a sophomore from North Oaks, Minn. First-time honorees include
Ava Stinnett, a senior from North Oaks, Minn.,
Kate Moffat, a senior from St. Louis, Mo., and
Shauna Miller, a senior from Cottage Grove, Minn.
With this year's selections, 34 CSB hockey student-athletes have now earned a total of 70 AHCA/Krampade All-American Scholar honors in the program's history. Of those honorees, CSB has had 22 recognized two or more times.
These eight standout players helped guide the Bennies to a strong 2024-25 campaign, finishing 12-10-3 overall and 9-8-1 in MIAC play—good for sixth place. Under the leadership of head coach
Lindsay Macy, the team posted an 8-4-3 record at home.
To qualify for All-American Scholar honors, student-athletes must maintain a GPA of 3.75 or higher in both semesters of the academic year while participating in at least 40% of their team's games (with exceptions for injured players and backup goalies).
Looking ahead, the Bennies begin their 2025–26 season at home at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 4 by hosting the University of Wisconsin–River Falls. MIAC play opens on Friday, Nov. 14 when CSB welcomes St. Scholastica at 6 p.m. For the full schedule, [
