2021-22
Soccer finishes second in the regular season and advances to the MIAC Championship game for the first time since 2013 ... sophomore golfer Emily Renner ties for third at the MIAC Championships, the program's best individual finish since 2015-16 ... sophomore Fiona Smith wins the MIAC cross country title and later becomes the first North Region champion in program history ... she finished fifth at the NCAA Championships to become the program's fifth All-American ... the swim and dive team finishes the MIAC Championships in fifth with 430.5 points - the most for the team since 2011-12 ... the Bennies earned All-MIAC in five events - the most since 2012-13 - and had the program's first All-MIAC relay since 2011-12 ... senior Ana Birklid finished the weekend with two All-MIAC honors, five All-MIAC Honorable Mention and six school records (three individual and three relay) ... the hockey team reached the 10-win mark for the second time in three seasons and the seventh time in program history ... the team made the conference tournament for the second time after finishing sixth - its best MIAC finish since 2008-09 ... first year Jenna Timm earned All-MIAC First Team and All-MIAC Rookie honors- the second athlete in program history to earn both honors in the same season ... basketball finishes 15-11 overall and 11-10 in the MIAC and advances to the MIAC Quarterfinals ... Jane Bodensteiner and Peyton Kopel earn All-MIAC singles and doubles honors, the program's first All-MIAC honorees since 2015 ... softball finishes third in the MIAC in the regular season and is selected as an NCAA Regional Tournament host for the first time in program history ... the Bennies finished the regional 2-2 and fell to Wartburg in the championship game ... junior outfield Gabby Spencer earned First Team All-American honors - the first First Team honoree in program history ... Fiona Smith became the most decorated athlete of any sport in CSB history after finishing fourth in the 5K and 10K and earning two more All-American honors at the NCAA Outdoor Championships ... 2020-21
The MIAC Presidents vote to postpone all competition in the fall semester due to the ongoing COVID19 pandemic ... hockey was the first CSB team to compete since March 9, 2020, when it took the ice against Hamline on Jan. 30, 2021 ... all 11 varsity sports competed in some capacity between Jan. 30 and mid-May 2021 ... basketball finished the shortened season 4-5, including an 88-83 win over St. Thomas on Feb. 24 - the program's first win over the Tommies since 2013, and the 700th win of head coach Mike Durbin's career ... Durbin is one of just three active coaches in Division III to reach the milestone ... senior Maddie Schmitz earned WBCA Honorable Mention All-American honors after leading the MIAC in scoring and rebounding ... sophomore diver Emi Quill earned First Team All-American honors after recording a pair of national qualifying scores on the one-meter board and being voted All-American by a panel of judges after sending in video ... swimmers recorded 11 marks in the top 10 in program history at the final meet of the shortened season, including school records in the 200 IM from Ana Birklid and the 200 breaststroke from Fiona Rosko ... volleyball finished 4-2 and senior Madison Weiss reached the 1,000-kill milestone ... Hunter Weiss was named CoSIDA Academic All-America Team Member of the Year for Division III volleyballl ... 2019-20
Volleyball beats UW-Stevens Point in a five-set thriller in the region championship match to earn the program's first trip to the Elite 8 since 2008 ... juniors Hunter and Madison Weiss both earned First Team All-American honors ... Hunter also was named MIAC Player of the Year and AVCA Central Region Player of the Year and was the Elite 90 Award winner ... Madison led all levels of the NCAA with 205 total blocks ... soccer picked up its first MIAC Tournament win since 2013, beating Carleton 3-2  ... junior Megan Thompson earned Third Team All-American honors ... golf finished fifth at the MIAC Championships ... cross country took sixth at the conference meet ... hockey finished 11-12-1 overall - the most wins for the program since 2001-02, and the sixth time in program history it hit double-digit wins ... hockey upset St. Thomas 3-2, the fourth win over UST in program history ... basketball started the season 6-0 before finishing 11-14 overall ... track and field hosted the MIAC Indoor Championships with SJU and recorded four All-MIAC Honorable Mention performances ... tennis was 7-1 before the season was canceled, including a 6-3 win over St. Thomas - a first for the program since 2012 ... sophomore Lily Fredericks became the first CSB tennis athlete in more than a decade to make it to Day 2 of the ITA Midwest Regionals in the fall ... first-year diver Emi Quill qualified for the NCAA Championships on the one-meter board - a first for the program since 2001-02 - but the championships were canceled due to the COVID19 pandemic ... she earned All-American honors by virtue of qualifying for nationals ... softball started 7-7 before the 2020 season was canceled ... the NCAA canceled all sports on March 13, 2020, due to the COVID19 pandemic.

2018-19
Volleyball earns an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament and makes it to the Sweet 16 ... sophomores Hunter Weiss earns All-American First Team honors - volleyball's first first-team honoree since 1993 - and Madison Weiss earns third-team accolades ... Madison Weiss leads the NCAA in total blocks ... senior Morgan Pierce becomes the second MIAC Cross Country champion in program history ... both Pierce and first year Abby Goff qualify for nationals, a first for the cross country team since 2005 ... the golf team takes second at the MIAC Championships for the second straight year ... Natalie Amundson becomes the second golfer in program history to earn four straight top-10 finishes and sets the school record for scoring average in a career ... Nick Thibault takes over as CSB's head hockey coach ... junior diver Mallory Jarvi becomes CSB's first swimmer or diver to compete in the postseason since 2002 after qualifying for the NCAA Central Zone meet ... first years Ana Birklid and Mikayla Von Wahlde set five school records for the swim team ... Jarvi, Birklid and Von Wahlde all earn All-MIAC, the most for the program since 2012-13 ... Pierce wins the MIAC indoor 5K title ... Jenna Degen qualifies for the NCAA indoor championships in the pentathlon ... softball senior Kate Deming sets school records for hits in a season and a career ... despite missing the MIAC Tournament, the softball team receives an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament for the second straight year ... Pierce sets school records in the outdoor 5K and 10K and wins the MIAC outdoor 5K title, becoming the first athlete in CSB history to win three MIAC titles in three different seasons in a year ... Degen qualifies for the NCAA outdoor championships in the heptathlon.

2017-18
Volleyball beats St. Thomas on its home court to win the MIAC Tournament title, its first since 2009 ... Hunter and Madison Weiss become the first CSB volleyball first years to earn All-MIAC honors since 2011 ... golf takes second at the MIAC Championships, its best finish since 2009-10 ... Madeline Pagel, Bridget Amundson and Natalie Amundson all finish in the top 10 ... the golf team is ranked in the top 25 in the Golf Stat rankings for the first time in program history ... soccer plays its first games on the new turf field across College Ave. ... soccer first-year Megan Thompson scores four goals in the first game of her career and is later named MIAC Rookie of the Year ... basketball takes second in the MIAC and earns an NCAA Tournament bid for the first time since 2009 ... Mike Durbin is named MIAC Coach of the Year for the sixth time ... the basketball team wins 20 games for the 25th time in Durbin's career ... Niki Fokken scores the 1,000th point of her career ... softball sets the school record for wins in a season with 36 ... the team upset No. 5 Trine in Arizona thanks in part to a grand slam from Claire Boatman ... softball makes it to the championship game of the MIAC Tournament and earns its first NCAA Tournament bid since 1994 ... first-year pitcher Ally Hjort is named MIAC Rookie and Pitcher of the Year ... senior Megan Sundstrom qualifies for the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the heptathlon for the second straight year.

2016-17
Volleyball beats No. 4 Emory 3-2 on its home court in Atlanta ... junior setter Megan Pekarek surpasses the 2,000-assist milestone ... sophomore golfer Natalie Amundson takes eighth at the MIAC Championships, the first CSB golfer to finish in the top 10 in back-to-back years since 2011 ... CSB soccer scores 10 seconds into the game against No. 10 St. Thomas and goes on to tie the Tommies 1-1 ... Taylor Hedin records a hat trick against St. Kate's, the first since at least the mid-2000s for CSB soccer ... Allison Kosobud, Taylor Loth and Emma Weber all finish top 15 for CSB cross country at the MIAC Championships to help the team finish fourth ... Weber and Kosobud earn All-Region ... Michael Engdahl takes over as the head coach of the CSB tennis program ... the CSB basketball team starts the season 7-0, its best start since 2003- 04 ... the team advances to the semifinals of the MIAC Tournament and hosts a playoff game for the first time since 2012-13 ... 2015-16
Volleyball qualifies for the NCAA Tournament for the fifth straight year … CSB beats St. Thomas for the first time since 2009 … sophomore setter Megan Pekarek earns All-American Honorable Mention … basketball picks up its 500th MIAC in in program history with a win against Macalester Jan. 6 in Claire Lynch … golf first year Natalie Amundson finishes second at the MIAC Championships, CSB’s best individual finish since 2011 … the track and field team takes second at the MIAC Indoor Championships and head coach Robin Balder-Lanoue is named MIAC Indoor Coach of the Year … junior London Stelten wins indoor and outdoor MIAC pole vault titles … senior Kiley Green sets school records in the 3K (indoor) and 3K, 5K and 10K (outdoor) … Allison Kosobud qualifies for the NCAA Outdoor National Championships in the 1,500 and finishes 17th … softball wins 20 or more games for the fourth straight year and head coach Rachael Click wins the 75th game in her career … hockey sweeps No. 4 St. Thomas for the first time since 1999-2000 … Elli Marvin earns All-MIAC First Team honors and is the first CSB hockey player named to the first team since 2010-11 … basketball junior Alison Newton earns All-MIAC First Team and All-MIAC Defensive honors, the first CSB player to win both since 2009-10 … Gaby Hagen, Steph Bierman, Katie Heller and Kristina Rudin team up to set school records and the 200 and 400 freestyle relays at the MIAC Swimming and Diving Championships.

2014-15
Volleyball qualified for the NCAA Tournament after finishing third in the MIAC ... senior Taya Kockelman earned Second Team All-American honors and Lexi Rinde earned All-American Honorable Mention ... the soccer team recorded 13 shutouts and finished tied for third in the conference ... senior cross country runner Manon Gammon-Deering earned All-MIAC and All-Region honors, becoming the fourth runner to earn three All-Region honors in her career ... golf finished fifth at the MIAC Championships ... the Blazer hockey team ended the year with a 5-3 home win against St. Thomas, which was receiving votes in Division III ... senior goalie Jenna Traut set the school record for career save percentage (.906) and minutes played in a career (3739:15) ... the hockey team took a week-long trip to Europe over New Year's and played against three European teams ... senior diver Megan Lawson qualified for the NCAA zone sections in the 1-meter dive ... Lawson and Kenzie Young (1,650 freestyle) earned All-MIAC honors ... Mattie Lueck, a junior on the basketball team, earned All-MIAC honors and Niki Fokken was named to the All-MIAC First Year Team ... CSB's distance medley relay team (Gammon-Deering, Jenna O'Donnell, Megan Sundstrom, Maria Kiminski) won the MIAC title at the indoor championships ... the Blazers' 3,200-meter relay team (Olivia Dengel, Gammon-Deering,  O'Donnell, Allison Kosobud) set school and stadium records and won the MIAC title at the outdoor championships ... London Stelten won the pole vault title ... tennis qualified for the conference tournament ... softball split with No. 12 St. Thomas ... junior Kim Lidstone set records for runs (46), at-bats (142) and stolen bases (29) in a season.

2013-2014
CSB finished second in the MIAC All-Sports Competition led by top-three performances from soccer, volleyball, cross-country, indoor track and field and softball … soccer won the MIAC regular and postseason championships and advanced to the first round of the NCAA Tournament ... soccer head coach Steve Kimble won his second MIAC Coach of the Year Award …... basketball head coach Mike Durbin notched the 600th win of his career, the 51st NCAA women's basketball coach to break that plateau ... Durbin has the 11th-best winning percentage (.777) amongst coaches with 600-plus wins ... volleyball finished the season ranked sixth in the country ...... tennis head coach Scott Larsen won his second career MIAC Coach of the Year Award ... soccer senior Colleen Bouchard was named Blazer Athlete of the Year after being named a first-team All-American, being named an NCAA Woman of the Year Top 30 Selection and setting the CSB record for career assists (35) ... volleyball also had three All-Americans with Taya Kockelman being named to the third team and Lexi Alm and Lexi Rinde being named All-American Honorable Mention ... Lexi Alm was also named a second-team All-American in softball – the first All-American in program history – after setting new Blazer single-season records for runs scored (44), RBIs (45), and home runs (9) ... Alm was also named MIAC Player of the Year in softball … hockey swept No. 7 Gustavus to snap the Gusties’ 30-game MIAC winning streak … cross country finished third in the MIAC, its best finish since 2002 … Manon Gammon-Deering (1,500) and Allison Kosobud (800) qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships and Kosobud (800), Mandy Witschen (pentathlon) and the distance medley relay team of Amy Kiminski, Gammon-Deering, Kelsie Larson and Kosobud qualified for the indoor meet.

2012-2013
The Blazers finished fourth in the MIAC All-Sports Competition, led by a second-place MIAC finish from the volleyball team and top-three performances by soccer, basketball, and indoor track and field ... 2012-13 marked 25th consecutive year that CSB has finished in the top four in the All-Sports Race ... volleyball advanced to the NCAA Sweet Sixteen and finished second overall in the central region ... cross-country finished sixth overall at the regional meet ... soccer was awarded the NSCAA Team Ethics Gold Award for playing the entire season without a booking ... soccer, cross country, and swimming and diving all received national academic awards from their respective coaches' associations ... volleyball players Lexi Alm and Taya Kockelman both earned All-American Honorable Mention status ... first-year softball infielder Kim Lidstone was named MIAC Rookie of the Year after going on the fourth-longest hitting streak in DIII softball history (31 games).

2011-2012
Indoor track and field finished second and CSB finished fourth overall in the MIAC All-Sports Competition ... 2010-2011
Saint Benedict finished fourth overall in the MIAC Sports Competition ... CSB was led by top-three performances by golf, soccer, basketball and indoor and outdoor track and field ... golfer Kathryn Hauff qualified for nationals for the second straight year and earned Second Team All-American honors after finishing 37th … swimmer Emily Roberts set a new 100-backstroke school record with a 59.10 at the MIAC Championships ... Ellen Dean set school records in the 100-fly and 200-fly with times of 59.13 and 2:08.86 respectively at the MIAC Championships ... Danielle Busch won the indoor and outdoor pole vault titles at the MIAC Championships … Jillian Daleiden (400), Molly Noel (1,500) and Caitlin Schnettler (steeplechase) also won MIAC titles at the outdoor meet … Busch took 18th in the pole vault at the NCAA Outdoor Championships and 10th at the national indoor meet … track and field coach Robin Balder-Lanoue was named MIAC Indoor Coach of the Year … volleyball first year Kathryn Gaydos was named MIAC Rookie of the Year.

2009-2010
The Blazer golf team took second at the MIAC Championships ... sophomore Kathryn Hauff qualified for the 2010 Division III Women's Golf National Championship and finished 47th to earn All-American Honorable Mention ... Hauff won the NCAA Elite 88 Award at the NCAA Championships … Sami Meyman earned All-Region Second Team honors for the Blazer soccer team ... the volleyball team finished 10-1 in the MIAC and won the conference title … CSB beat St. Thomas for the first time since 2004, snapping the Tommies' 36-match MIAC winning streak ... Beth Hanson became the school's all-time assist leader with 5,092 ... Hanson earned AVCA Division III Third Team All-American honors … head coach Michele Blaeser was named MIAC Coach of the Year ... Blazer basketball won its fifth straight MIAC regular-season title ... head coach Mike Durbin was named MIAC Coach of the Year ... the CSB Nordic skiing team finished fourth at the NCAA Regional ... first year Megan Smith finished in the top two in 10 of CSB's 11 races ... Kelly Matzen broke the CSB swim team's records in the 50 and 100 freestyle ... sophomore Danielle Busch qualified for the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the pole vault and took 12th ... Julia Renner qualified for the outdoor national meet in the long jump and finished 12th and high jump where she finished 17th ... track and field coach Robin Balder-Lanoue was named MIAC Outdoor Coach of the Year … the CSB tennis team beat St. Thomas in the first round of the MIAC playoffs … golf finished second in the MIAC.

2008-2009
Basketball wins its 12th MIAC championship and advances to the Sweet 16 at the NCAA Tournament … head coach Mike Durbin wins his 500th game as a head coach … volleyball finishes 29-7, takes second in the MIAC and advances to the Elite 8 at the NCAA Championships, its best finish since 1990 … Kaycee Knutson earns All-MIAC and All-Region in cross country … track and field coach Robin Balder-Lanoue was named MIAC Indoor Track and Field Co-Coach of the Year … track and field athletes Mary Schletty (triple jump) and Abby Neigebauer (100) both qualified for the NCAA Championships … Neigebauer wins the outdoor 100 title at the MIAC meet, Julia Renner wins the indoor long jump title and Schletty wins the triple jump indoor and outdoor conference titles.

2007-2008
Basketball wins its 11th MIAC championship … volleyball goes 21-11 and finishes second in the MIAC ... soccer qualified for the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2002 after taking second in the MIAC … Margot Branigan wins the 5K and 10K at the MIAC Outdoor Championships.

2006-2007
Basketball wins its 10th MIAC Championship and advances to the NCAA Tournament … volleyball coach Michelle Blaeser earns her 100th win at CSB … Megan Tieg qualifies for the national tennis tournament and earns All-American Honorable Mention honors.

2005-2006
Basketball wins its ninth MIAC championship and qualifies for its 14th NCAA appearance … Anna Heikenen earns First Team All-American honors … thrower Jenna Wendorff qualifies for the indoor and outdoor national championships and earns All-American honors with an eighth place finish at the NCAA Indoor Championships … hockey player Lisa Brown receives the first ever MIAC Sheila Brown award for leadership … tennis coach Janna LaFountaine named MIAC Coach of the Year after leading CSB to a runner-up finish in the MIAC, its best finish since 1988-89 … volleyball finishes 1-1 at the national tournament … Leah Wurm finishes 23rd at the national cross country championships to earn a second-straight All-American honor … Wurm also won the MIAC Championships and later received a postgraduate scholarship.

2004-2005
Basketball earns an NCAA bid where it advances to the Sweet 16 … cross country athlete Leah Wurm earns All-American honors for the first time after finishing 14th in her second NCAA Championship appearance … Jenna Wendorff qualifies for the indoor and outdoor national championships in the shot put and earns All-American honors at the indoor meet with a seventh-place finish … the 400-meter relay team of Sarah Nezworski, Patti Clintsman, Bethany Keene and Jen Dalhed earn All-American honors after taking third at the NCAA Outdoor Championships … softball coach Dennis Johnson records his 400th career win and becomes the MIAC’s all-time winningest coach.

2003-2004
Soccer wins its third MIAC title and second in the past two seasons … Megan McVoy is named MIAC Player of the Year … basketball coach Mike Durbin wins his 400th career game … basketball wins its eighth MIAC Championship … tennis player Christin Tieg qualifies for the national meet and earns All-American First Team honors … thrower Jenna Wendorff qualifies for the indoor and outdoor national championships and earns the first All-American honor of her career after taking fifth in the shot put at the outdoor meet … softball wins 29 games, the second-most in program history, and finishes second in the MIAC … hockey goalie Kate Hall graduates with the school record for games played (83), saves (1,794) and shutouts (7) in a career … golf finishes second in the MIAC.

2002-2003
Soccer earns its second MIAC title and advances to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1998 … Bill Kelly is named MIAC Coach of the Year … basketball coach Mike Durbin is inducted into the Minnesota High School Girls’ Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame … Denny Johnson named AFLAC NCAA Division III Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach of the Year … basketball earns its seventh MIAC championship title as tri-champions and Michelle Barlau is named the conference player of the year … thrower Jenna Wendorff qualifies for the NCAA Outdoor National Championships for the first time … first year Leah Wurm becomes the first CSB athletes to qualify for the NCAA Cross Country Championships since 1996 … Amanda Kelly wins the MIAC one-meter diving title.

2001-2002
Basketball earns its sixth MIAC title, as co-champions, and advances to its 12th NCAA Tournament … with his 338th victory, Mike Durbin becomes the winningest women’s coach in MIAC history … Katie Kuhlmann advances to NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships and takes sixth in the 100 breaststroke to earn All-American honors and also takes 21st in 200 breaststroke … cross country took fifth place at the NCAA Division III Central Regional meet and barely missed a team berth into the NCAA Championships … softball finished second in the MIAC by beating St. Thomas (who was undefeated up until that point) in the last game of the season … Jenny Ewertz broke both the 100 and 200 records during the outdoor track and field season … Katy Rollwagen set the CSB hockey career scoring record with 135 points in her four-year career and is the first hockey player to earn All-MIAC honors all four years … basketball was crowned MIAC co-Champions and received an at-large bid for the NCAA tournament … during the indoor track and field season several records were broken: Molly Miller (55 hurdles), Jen Bruns (200), Kit Neubauer (200 hurdles) and Cindy Blendermann, Annie Radabaugh, Anna Gunderson and Stephanie Noonan (distance medley relay).

2000-2001

Volleyball, basketball and swimming become varsity sports at CSB … Rosie Stallman, first base, was a junior at SCSU who played volleyball and softball and she and Linda Anderson, who played left field and batted in the number one spot, were asked to coach softball at Saint Benedict …  Linda was actually asked and she said she'd split her salary of $100 if Rosie would help her … can't remember if we won or lost - I do remember really cold practices!
