ST. JOSEPH, Minn. -- Senior
Jenna Timm, who scored the dramatic overtime goal to lift the College of Saint Benedict hockey team past No. 4 Augsburg on Friday (Feb. 14), has been named the St. Cloud Orthopedics / CSB Athlete of the Week.

A senior finance major from Maple Grove, Minn., Timm totaled three points, including a goal and two assists, as St. Ben's had a 1-1 record against No. 4 Augsburg in a home-and-home series Feb. 13-14. Timm delivered the game-winning goal on Friday at 3:21 of overtime as the Bennies registered a 4-3 overtime win over No. 4 Augsburg. As a result, CSB ended Augsburg's 12-game winning streak and helped CSB earn two MIAC points in CSB's bid to make the MIAC playoffs.
With a goal and assist on Friday, Timm helped CSB ended a nine-game losing streak to the Auggies, dating to 3-2 CSB win on Dec. 5, 2014; and beat a top five nationally ranked team for the first time since a 5-3 decision over No. 4 St. Thomas on Jan. 30, 2016, at the Dave Torrey Arena in St. Cloud.
The victory enabled the Bennies to improve to 11-9-3 overall and 8-7-1 in the MIAC. With 23 MIAC points, CSB sits in sixth place in the standings with the top five teams advancing to the playoffs. The Bennies, which will face Concordia-Moorhead, in a home-and-home series on Feb. 21-22, is just two MIAC points behind St. Olaf (11-11-1, 8-7-1 MIAC), which has 25 points.
For Timm, the overtime goal was her 18th career goal and her sixth of the season. In scoring her seventh career game-winning goal, she moved into a tie for third all-time at CSB with game-winning goals (Paula Vogt, 1998-01; Elli Marvin, 2013-17). Timm also had two assists during the two games, which gives her 36 in her career for sixth all-time at CSB in that category.
