ST. JOSEPH, Minn. — Six members of the College of Saint Benedict soccer program capped their 2025 season with a major academic milestone, earning spots on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, the organization announced Tuesday (Nov. 25).
Regan Melz
The honor recognizes student-athletes across the country who pair academic excellence with standout athletic performance. All-District selections now advance to the national ballot for CSC Academic All-America consideration, with first-, second- and third-team honorees scheduled for release on Dec. 16.
Addison Stephani
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC.
For Saint Benedict, the recognition highlights a core group that helped guide the Bennies through a 7–11 campaign (5–6 MIAC), finishing tied for sixth in the conference.

Mary Blaska
Blaska, a nursing major, served as the steadying force of the Bennie back line. She started 17 of 18 games, logged 1,200 minutes and contributed five shots while guiding a young defensive unit. A 2023 Academic All-MIAC pick, Blaska closed her four-year career with 50 appearances, three assists, 16 shots and nearly 3,000 minutes played.
Grace Fitzgibbons
Fitzgibbons, an accounting major and two-time Academic All-MIAC honoree, added veteran presence to the midfield. She started 17 games in 2025, recording a goal and 13 shots. Over 65 career games (40 starts), Fitzgibbons totaled four goals, four assists and 50 shots, including three game-winners across 3,380 minutes.
Melz, an exercise and health science major, appeared in all 18 games this fall and contributed 26 shots along with an assist. An Academic All-MIAC selection in 2024, she finished her career with 3,723 minutes played, one goal and two assists.
Seamans brought consistency and creativity to the midfield in her junior season. A global business major, Seamans started all 18 matches, tallied three goals and four assists, and recorded 39 shots — 18 on target. She now stands at five goals, seven assists and 17 points in her CSB career.
Stephani, a nursing major from Blaine, Minn., was earlier this fall named All-MIAC, the 88th player in program history to earn All-MIAC recognition, continuing a remarkable tradition of excellence. Saint Benedict has had at least one All-MIAC selection for 34 consecutive years. A two-time Academic All-MIAC honoree, she appeared in 18 games with 16 starts, tallying a team-high seven goals (10th, MIAC) and one assist for 15 total points. Stephani's season included two game-winning goals and 23 shots on target among 49 total attempts. Stephani concludes her career with 11 goals, seven assists, and 29 points across 66 games.
Avery Soli
Summer Seamans
Soli, a psychology major, added scoring punch, finishing with five goals and two assists in 2025. Named Academic All-MIAC in 2024, she earned MIAC Athlete of the Week honors on Sept. 22 after scoring two goals in back-to-back win over Bethel and UW-Stout. She made 13 starts and delivered two game-winners. Across 51 career games, Soli has compiled 10 goals, four assists, 49 shots and four game-winners.
