ST. JOSEPH, Minn. – The College of Saint Benedict athletic department celebrated the accomplishments of the 2025-26 athletic year in May with its annual student-athlete celebration. Twelve Bennies were announced as finalists for the annual CSB Rookie of the Year award, presented to the top newcomer of the season in each sport.
Midfielder
Veronica Warren (North Oaks, Minn./Mounds View) was named CSB soccer's finalist for the award.
Warren played in all 18 of CSB's games and started in 13 of them. She led all CSB first-years in minutes players (1,004) and was one of six Bennies to eclipse 1,000+ minutes played.
She finished fifth on the roster with 15 shots and nine shots on goal. Warren totaled a season-high in both shots and shots on goal (4) vs. Wisconsin-Stout on Sept. 21. She played two complete games (vs. St. Olaf on Oct. 4 and at Macalester on Oct. 11) and hit 82 minutes in the two games following.
CSB tied for sixth in the MIAC with a 5-6 record (7-11 overall) and missed the MIAC playoffs on a tiebreaker.
