NORTHFIELD, Minn. –
Emi Wagner won the 50 free and was part of the winning 200 free relay and second place 200 medley relay to lead the efforts of the College of Saint Benedict swim and dive team in a dual with St. Olaf on Saturday. The Bennies dropped a 163-to-78 decision to the Oles.
Wagner led an impressive sprint performance by CSB in the dual. She won the 50-free by clocking a season-best 25.67 with her third straight win in the event. Senior
Jocie Larson was second in 26:26 in the event as she tied her season-best performance. In fourth place was sophomore
Mikayla Haskamp in 26:50.

Rachel Schlueter, led the 200-free relay to a win in 1:42.70, a season-best time. In the same event, CSB was fourth in 1:51.94 with a team of first-year

The Bennies also had a solid relay effort in finishing second and fourth in the 200-medley relay. The squad of Schlueter, sophomore

Haskamp also led a 2-3-4 finish by the Bennies in the 100 free. She clocked 57:41 followed by Larson in 57.79 for third and Tatge, 58.76, for fourth place.
Schlueter placed second in the 100 back with a season-best 1:02.05 with Canfield placing fourth in 1:04.14 and Sitzman, fifth, 1:04.66.
Sitzman led the way in the 200 free by placing third in a season-best 2:06.22 while Jennings was fourth in 2:08.66. Hansen had a lifetime best in placing sixth in 2:09.97.
Jennings was also second in the 100 fly as she swam 1:04.41. Also, in the 100-fly, Jackson was fifth in 1:07.64 and Anna Boomgarden, sixth, 1:10.73. CSB also had a 2-3 finish in the 100-breast with Bartels clocking 1:13.66 for second and Hansen placing third in 1:15.77. In the same event, Gustin placed fifth in 1:19.30.
The Bennies took the fourth through sixth places in the 200 IM as Canfield was fourth in 2:22.98 while Jackson was fifth in 2:27.22 and Bartels, sixth, 2:27.84.
In diving, first-year
Ella Kowalczyk placed in the two 1-meter diving competitions. In the five-dives 1-meter event, she placed fourth with a score of 119.25 points. In the six-dives 1 -meter board, Kowalczyk was third with 175.25 points.
In the 1000 free, CSB was led by sophomore
Maddy Ahlquist, who was fourth in 12:39.88 with senior
Emma Vicker, fifth, at 12:42.95. Also in the long-distance races, first-year
Jayda Alholm was fourth in the 500 free in 6:04.33 while Vicker placed fifth in 6:18.17.
Next weekend, CSB will compete at the St. Kate's Double Dual with St. Catherine and UW-Eau Claire in St. Paul, Minn., on Saturday, November 11 with a start time of 11:30 a.m.
