Sydney Gustin-Season-Career Results
2023-24: Competed in nine meets, recording seven top-eight finishes ... competed in the MIAC Championships, setting career-bests in the 50 Y Breast (33.77) and the 100 Y Breast (1:12.87) and season-bests in the 50 Y Free (26.40) and the 200 Y Breast (2:47.00) ... set a career-best in the 200 Y IM at the Gustie Challenge with a time of 2:33.34.
High School: Gustin is a 2023 graduate from St. Cloud Tech High School. While in school, she was a part of the swim & dive team for six years and the softball team for four years. Her accomplishments in swimming included, Rookie of the Year (2017), being named Team Captain (2022), and All-State Academic Team (2022). In her softball career, she was also named Team Captain (2023) and All-State Academic Team (2023). Her proudest moment in her career so far was being able to participate in the State Swim Meet back-to-back years.
Personal: Sydney is the daughter of Joy and Scott Gustin; she has three siblings named Anja, Aliina, and Spencer. In her free time, she enjoys being with friends and family. While at CSB she is majoring in Psychology. One of the things she likes most about being a collegiate student-athlete is having a busy schedule because it allows her to stay focused on the things that are important to her. She also enjoys having new experiences and making friends along the way.
