LEXINGTON, K.y. -- The College of Saint Benedict volleyball team split on the final day of the Transy Invite to wrap up the event with a 3-1 record. The Bennies topped the University of Dubuque 3-1 in their morning match and fell 3-0 to the University of Chicago in the afternoon. CSB moves to 5-3 overall on the season. For her outstanding performance, Emma Guest was named to the all-tournament team.

In the first set against Dubuque, the Spartans jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead with the two teams trading points until St. Ben's grabbed its first lead at 12-11. Dubuque regained the lead at 18-16, but CSB scored the next four points to go up 20-18 off two service aces by Chaeli Haupert and an attack error by the Spartans.
