INDIANAPOLIS, IND. – The College of Saint Benedict, which sits 10-5 overall, is one of the seven teams from Region IX listed in the initial NCAA DIII regional rankings released on Wednesday afternoon. For the complete listing, click here.

In the initial list of regional rankings, teams are listed only by alphabetical order in the first of three rankings which will be put out by the NCAA. In the next two rankings on Oct. 26 and Nov. 2, the teams will be ranked from 1-7.

Here is the list of teams that made the initial rankings with the in-region record followed by the overall team's record. The list includes: Carleton, 11-1-1, 11-1-1; Loras, 10-0-3, 11-0-3; Saint Benedict, 10-5-0, 10-5-0; St. Catherine, 8-4-2, 8-4-2; Wartburg, 13-0-2, 13-0-2; Wisconsin LaCrosse, 13-1-1, 13-1-1; and Wisconsin Whitewater, 9-3-3, 9-3-3.

CSB, which has won eight of its last 10 matches, will host Macalester in a MIAC matchup at 1 pm on Saturday, Oct. 22. The Bennies are 1-of-3 MIAC schools listing in the initial regional listing.
