The second period is when the scoring floodgates opened for the Bennie offense, beginning with a goal from first year Sami Boerboom at the 9:05 mark to make it 2-1, senior Annika Brodt assisted on the goal. CSB's special teams would be responsible for goal number three, coming from first year
Jenna Timm unassisted at the 15:08 mark. Less than two minutes later, sophomore Isabelle Heim would score with help from Timm and sophomore
Jamie Benzie at 16:53 to make it 4-1 to round out the second period.
