Sauk Rapids, Minn. – For the second straight weekend, the Saint Benedict golf team leaves Wapicada Golf Club with a win, this time taking a narrow dual meet victory from St. Cloud State today on Sept. 28. In just one round of play, the Blazers came out two strokes ahead, 347 to 349.
The Blazers were led by individual medalist
Karly Pratt, who continues her late surge in her senior season, earning her first title of the year, while shooting her best scores of the season in her last three rounds. She paced the field by just a single stroke with her 13-over, 85, grabbing the win after taking second at the Blazer Invite.
With just one round of play, a packed top-five resulted at the top of the leaderboard, with three players tying for second a 14-over, 86, and another three tied for fifth at 15-over with an 87.

Grace Todora finished tied in second with a pair of Huskies, while CSB's
Annalise Wallerich and
Lauren Wise shared fifth place with a single St. Cloud State player. Todora recorded her fifth top-five, while Wallerich's 87 tied for her best round of the season.

Bridget Cummings also snuck into the top-ten with her 17-over 87, her second top-10 of the season.
Now the Blazers will turn their sights to the 2012 MIAC Championship, which tees off Oct. 6, 7 and 8 at Bunker Hills in Coon Rapids, Minn.
