Taya Kockelman led the Blazer volleyball team to their 10th and 11th wins last week, as they kept their record perfect.
 
The Blazers won 3-1 over Northwestern and 3-0 over St. Scholastica, with Kockelman putting up 48 and 47 assists respectively in the two matches. With 48 assists against the Eagles, it was Kockelman's best mark of the season, and one of the best four-set numbers of her career. Then before the week ended, she added 47 in just three sets as the Blazers swept the Saints, the best three-set mark in the MIAC all season and best of her career.
 
Kockelman set the Blazers to 56 and 57 kills respectively in the two wins, which each also stand as the team’s two best marks of the season. She has now went over the 30-assists mark in nine matches, topping the 40-mark for the first two times..
