HASTINGS, Minn.
– Behind three top 10 individual finishes, the College of Saint Benedict golf team secured third place at the Carleton Invitational, which wrapped up Sunday, Sept. 7, at Bellwood Oaks Golf Club.
The Bennies posted a team score of 649 (332-317), improving by 15 strokes on day two. Host Carleton College claimed the team title with a 624 (323-301), followed by St. Catherine in second at 637 (323-314). CSB outpaced St. Olaf, which finished fourth at 698 (357-341).
Senior
Catherine Jance once again led the way for CSB, earning her second straight top five finish. She placed fifth overall with a two-round score of 156 (80-76), building on her fourth-place finish at the CSB Invite the previous week. Senior
Maggie Roth tied for eighth with a 160 (84-76), while sophomore
Kenna Henriksen took 10th at 163 (81-82).
