ST. JOSEPH, Minn. – After opening the fall with two impressive team finishes and several standout individual performances, the College of Saint Benedict golf team heads into this weekend's Gustie D3 Classic (Sept. 13–14) with plenty of momentum. The two-day event will be held at Emerald Greens Golf Course in Hastings, Minn., featuring a competitive 15-team field.

The Bennies are coming off a third-place finish at the Carleton Invitational, where they improved by 15 strokes from round one to round two — a sign of a team finding rhythm early in the season.

Senior Catherine Jance has led the way with steady leadership and top-tier scoring. After placing fifth at Carleton (156), she's now posted back-to-back top-five finishes, proving to be a reliable anchor at the top of the lineup. Meanwhile, a mix of experience and youth has stepped up to keep CSB competitive across the board.

In his 15th season, Head Coach Daryl Schomer continues to lead a program built on performance and consistency — both on and off the course.
