ST. JOSEPH, Minn. — Behind top 16 finishes from senior
Maggie Roth (Rush City, Minn.) and sophomore
Kenna Henriksen (Olivia, Minn.), the College of Saint Benedict golf team closed out its 2025-26 season with a fourth-place finish at the St. Olaf/Carleton Spring Day, which concluded Sunday in Faribault, Minn. The two-day event opened at Willingers Golf Course in Northfield before wrapping up at the Legacy Golf Course.
No. 46 Saint Benedict posted a two-round total of 649, improving by 11 strokes from an opening-round 330 on Saturday to 319 on Sunday. The Bennies finished just one shot shy of third place. No. 18 Carleton captured the team title with a 606 (301-305), followed by No. 37 St. Catherine at 622 (323-299) and No. 49 Gustavus Adolphus at 648 (327-321).
Competing in her final event for the Bennies, Roth matched a season-best finish by placing eighth with a 36-hole total of 156 (77-79). She recorded three birdies and 18 pars over the weekend. Henriksen followed with another strong performance, placing 16th with a 162 (83-79), highlighted by four birdies and 14 pars.
Senior
Catherine Jance (Hopkins, Minn.) added a 24th-place finish with a 166 (86-80), tallying 16 pars and three birdies. Junior
Taylar Nadler (Cottage Grove, Minn.) finished 26th with a 168 (87-81), collecting six birdies and nine pars across the two rounds.
Sophomore
Sophia Anderson (Albany, Minn.) turned in a 170 (84-86) for 28
th as all five CSB golfers placed in the top-30. Anderson had 14 pars and one birdie, while sophomore
Avery Maus (Kimball, Minn.), competing as an individual, placed 43rd with a 182 (90-92) and recorded 11 pars over the two days.
