Jance Makes History, Named MIAC Athlete of the Week
Junior Catherine Jance continues to lead the charge for CSB, earning MIAC Golf Athlete of the Week honors on April 22 after capturing back-to-back individual titles this month. She is just the 12th golfer in program history to earn the award and the first since Emily Renner in September 2023.
Jance tied her career-best round with a one-over-par 73 at the Rumble at the Ridge on April 19, hosted by Bethel at Oneka Ridge Golf Course. Her performance secured medalist honors and propelled CSB to its second straight second-place team finish.

This follows her breakout victory at the Gustavus Spring Invite (April 12-13), where she posted a 147 (74-73) to win her first collegiate title. With these consecutive wins, Jance joins CSB Athletics Hall of Famer Kathryn Hauff Dehn (Fall 2010) as the only players in program history to win back-to-back individual titles.

Rumble at the Ridge Recap: CSB Takes Second Again
Behind Jance's 73, the Bennies shot a 317 (+29) at the Rumble at the Ridge, finishing just five strokes behind No. 33 Carleton (312). No. 35 Bethel took third at 322.

Supporting scores came from: The CSB second squad also impressed, placing sixth with a 338 (+50). Sophia Anderson led the group, placing 11th overall.

Gustie Spring Invite: Jance Earns First Career Win

Jance dominated the field with a 147 (74-73), collecting her first career title and setting new personal bests. She finished three strokes ahead of her previous best (150) from the St. Kate's Fall Invite.
Other key performances included: Fall Recap: Building a Strong Foundation
