ST. JOSEPH, Minn. – With a fall season defined by consistency, breakthroughs, and school records, the College of Saint Benedict golf team is primed for a strong showing at the 2025 MIAC Championships, set for October 4-6 at Braemar Golf Course in Edina, Minn.
The three-day, 54-hole event brings together all 10 MIAC women's golf programs, with the winning team earning an automatic berth to the 2025 NCAA Division III Golf Championships. It's the first time the women's championship will be held at Braemar, which hosted the men's event in 2024. Tee-times begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday, and then at 9 a.m., on Monday.

A Season of Firsts, Records, and Rising Stars
CSB enters the MIAC Championship on a high after a dominant and historic fall stretch, posting four straight top-four finishes to open the season — a first in recent program history.
Their signature performance came at the St. Kate's Invitational, where the Bennies posted a two-day total of 611, shattering the school's 36-hole scoring record by 12 strokes (previously 623). Their opening-round 302 also set a new single-round team record, surpassing a 306 mark that had stood since 2005.
Senior
Catherine Jance led the way with a stunning individual performance. Her rounds of 72 and 71 put her at 1-under 143, a new program 36-hole individual record, and earned her a runner-up finish. Jance now has four top-five finishes in four tournaments this fall and ranks 4th in the MIAC with a 75.6 scoring average.
Sophomore
Sophia Anderson also delivered a breakout moment at St. Kate's, shooting a career-best 151 (73-78) to place eighth. Her opening-round 73 is now tied for eighth-lowest all-time at CSB. The fall marks her second top 10 finish of the season.
Consistent Depth Across the Lineup
Beyond the St. Kate's Invite, the Bennies have turned in strong team scores across the board:
- 2nd at the CSB Invite (623 – tied for second-best in program history)
- 3rd at the Carleton Invite (649)
- 4th at the Gustie D3 Classic (623 – tied for second-best in program history)
Other standouts include:
- Maggie Roth (Sr.): 79.2 avg., three top 15 finishes, low round of 76
- Kenna Henriksen (So.): 82.1 avg., top 10 finish at Carleton
- Taylar Nadler (Jr.): 82.3 avg., low round of 75, 6th at CSB Invite
Altogether, CSB has shown both top-end firepower and lineup depth, placing five players in the top 37 at St. Kate's.
