ST. JOSEPH, Minn. -- The College of Saint Benedict soccer team (4-5-4, 1-4-2 MIAC) is set to host Bethel (5-5-3, 1-4-2 MIAC) on Senior Day in MIAC play at the CSB Outdoor Athletic Complex on Saturday, October 19 at 1 p.m.
The Bennies and Bethel both sit 1-4-2 in MIAC play. Overall, CSB is 4-5-4 on the season and Bethel had a 5-5-3 mark. In games decided by a goal or less, CSB is 3-3-4 (

The Bennies started the season strong, winning three of their first five games, four of which were played at home. CSB has recorded ties in four games, including league games with Macalester (0-0) and Hamline (0-0). At home, the Bennies recently defeated Gustavus (1-0) in a close MIAC matchup. On Wednesday, CSB dropped a close 2-1 decision in MIAC play to Concordia.
Alli Voss scored her seventh goal of the season.

Bethel, which is led by sixth-year head coach Ben Linder, is currently 5-4-2, including 1-3-1 in MIAC play. The Royals are led by forward, Jessica Oliver, who has recorded nine goals with six assists. Midfielder Malia Beilby has eight goals and four assists. In goal senior Kate Green has a .662 save percentage.
Series Notes
This will be the 32nd meeting between the two schools. The Bennies have a 27-1-3 against the Royals all-time, including 12-1-2 at home. In the last matchup on Oct. 14, 2023, the Bennies defeated the Royals, 3-1, in Arden Hills, Minn.

The Bennies are averaging 0.92 goals per game while conceding 1.15 goals per game. CSB ranks seven in the MIAC with 3.62 corner kicks; fourth in save percentage at 6.00 and eighth in shots on goal at 6.69.
Senior forward
Alli Voss leads the team with seven goals and three assists. She has three game-winning goals which places fourth in the MIAC. In 67 games, including 61 starts, Voss, who has logged 4205.23 minutes, has recorded 27 goals and 11 assists for 65 points. She has 12 game winning goals with 168 goals, including 92 on-goal. This year, Voss had her first-ever hat trick with the three goals in a win over Wisconsin-Oshkosh on Sept. 7, 2024.

Avery Soli has contributed four goals this season and has five in her career.

Annie Waters has a goals-against average of 0.97 with 67 saves and a 0.859 save percentage which ranks her second in the MIAC. She has four shutouts this year and 10 in her career. In her career, Waters, who has started 42 games in 57 total, has logged 3,5281.12 minutes, including 9:31.50 this year. She has allowed nine goals this year and 34 in her career for a career mart of 0.86 goals allowed average. She has 192 saves in her career for an .850 saves percentage and now has a 23-13-7 record in goal. She has recorded career highs of eight saves against Wisconsin-LaCrosse, 9/1/23; Carleton, 10/28/23; and Gustavus Adolphus, 10/12/24.

Historical Performance
CSB has a rich history, recording 27 winning seasons since 1984. Last season, the team finished tied for third in the MIAC with a 6-3-2 conference record and an overall mark of 9-6-3. Consistently competitive, CSB has finished in the MIAC's top four for the past four seasons, including second-place finishes in 2021 and 2022.

Steve Kimble, now in his 16th season at CSB, has achieved 10 top-four finishes in the MIAC, with a career record of 153-87-35 at the college and 96-48-16 in conference play. Under his guidance, the team has experienced consistent success, including two MIAC championships and multiple NCAA Tournament appearances.
