MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. –
Fiona Rosko had an All-MIAC performance in the 200 fly to highlight the College of Saint Benedict Swim and Dive Team's performance on the final day of MIAC Swimming and Diving Championships.
With Rosko's performance and eight others in the finals, CSB finished fifth with 361 points in the MIAC Championships. As CSB looks to the finals, they had had 19 top-10 program marks. The St. Catherine Wildcats made it a three-peat, winning their third Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) women's swimming & diving championship in as many seasons. St. Kate's scored 686 points over the four-day conference meet to win the women's title at the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center on the campus of the University of Minnesota.
In the 200 fly, Rosko had the third All-MIAC performance of the championships, joining
Molly Johanson in the 400 IM and
Emi Wagner in the 50 free. Rosko was third in the 200 fly with a clocking of 2:10.25 which bettered her all-time best and was the second best performance in school history in the event. Aside from Rosko, junior
Laura Jennings was eighth in 2:16.38 but her prelims time of 2:16.38 ranked ninth all-time at CSB. In addition, senior
Mary Ridgeway was 15
th in 2:20.31 with her PR.
In the A final of the 100 free,
Emi Wagner was sixth in 54.11, which was a season-best but short of her all-time best. It still ranks as a top-10 s=program mark. Also in the event, first-year
Rachel Schlueter was 11
th with a PR of 54.55. Other results in the event included first-year

th 55.32 (PR); junior

Riley Engle, 25

On the 1M-board,
Emily Quill, who finished fifth on the 3M board earlier in the championships and has already qualified for the NCAA DIII regionals, was eighth overall at 370.95 points. She placed in the top eight on both boards (5
th, 3M).
In the 200 back, CSB had a stellar effort from junior
Lindsay Smutka, who had two top-10 program marks in the prelims and then the finals. After going a PR of 2:09.13 for fifth all-time, she had a 2:06.38 in the B final for third all-time. Her time would have placed her fifth among swimmers in the A final. First-year
Lauren Sitzman placed 10
th with a clocking of 2:12.38 but swam a personal-best of 2:09.77 which is tied for sixth all-time at CSB in the prelims. As a result CSB picked up 16 points in the standings. Also in the race, CSB's
Mads Slavik was 19
th in 2:24.41.
Senior
Molly Johanson placed 10
th in the 1,650 free at 18:42.85. First-year
Maddy Ahlquist finished 11
th with a personal best clocking of 19:40.24. Junior
Emma Vicker was 18
th in 20:40.00, just off her season best.
In addition, CSB's 400 freestyle relay finished fifth in 3:35.56 with a squad of first-year
Mikayla Haskamp, first-year
Rachel Schlueter, and juniors
Lindsay Smutka and
Emi Wagner.
