ST. JOSEPH, MINN. -- On Senior Day, the College of Saint Benedict Soccer Team (10-5, 6-2, 2nd, MIAC), which has won eight of its last 10 matches, will host Macalester College (7-3-5, 3-2-3, 5th, MIAC) in MIAC play at 1 pm on Saturday, Oct. 22 at the CSB Soccer Field.

Steve Kimble and his squad will return home to host a match against the College of St. Scholastica at 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 25 at the CSB Soccer Field in St. Joseph, Minn. On Oct. 29, CSB will travel to Carleton College at 1:00 p.m.
CSB Soccer will recognize its four seniors following the match
Seniors Cecelia Miller, Grace Navarra, Paige Kahlmeyer and Chloe Miller.
On Saturday, the Soccer Program will recognize four seniors, who have made outstanding contributions on and off the field at St. Ben's. Following today's match, the seniors will be honored. The seniors include goalkeeper
Paige Kahlmeyer of Chanhassen, Minn. From Minnetonka High School, Paige wears #1 and is an elementary education major. She is the daughter of Robert and Julie Kahlmeyer.
Chloe Miller, who wears #2, is a midfielder from Eagan, Minn. She graduated from Eagan High School and is majoring in nursing at CSB. She is the daughter of Andrew and Susan Miller.
Cecelia Miller, who wears #25, is from St. Michael, Minn., where she graduated from St. Michael-ALbertville High School. An elementary education major, she is the daughter of Chris and Maria Miller.
Grace Navara, a defender for CSB, wears #16 and is from Chanhassen, Minn., where she graduated from Chanhassen High School. A biology major, she is the daughter of Beth and Tom Navara.
Over the last 10 matches, CSB, who was ranked in the most recent NCAA regional rankings on Oct. 19, has eight wins and a goal differential of 27-5 with five shutouts. CSB, which was No. 7 in the United Soccer Coaches regional rankings on Oct. 18, is 10-5 overall with its 12
th winning season in the past 14 years. In the MIAC, CSB is second and a half-game ahead of St. Olaf and St. Catherine at 5-2-1.
In 2022, the Bennies have registered its eighth season of 10 wins or more since 2009 and 26th overall (since 1984). This year, CSB is averaging 2.27 goals per match, second in the MIAC, and allowing .73 for a 1.54 margin, also second in the league. CSB has scored 34 goals and delivered 229 shots, with both totals ranking third in the league. CSB's shot accuracy of 0.624 is 30
th in NCAA DIII and first in the league. The Bennies also ranked 32
nd in DIII and second in the MIAC in save percentage at 0.866.
Sophomore
Alli Voss is tied for the league lead in goals scored with 10 while her four-game-winning goals is the most in the MIAC and No. 18 in NCAA DIII. She is also tied for second in the league with 22 points. Voss is ranked 12
th in DIII and first in the MIAC in shot accuracy at 0.744.
Caralyn Conners has 17 points (8
th, MIAC) and six goals, which is tied for the sixth best total in the league. In goal,
Annie Waters is 5-2 with 25 saves while
Paige Kahlmeyer is 5-3 with 42 saves. Kahlmeyer ranks first in the MIAC and 37
th in NCAA DIII in goals against average at .570 while her save percentage of 0.875 is 28
th in DIII and first in the MIAC.
Macalester is 1-1-3 over its last five matches
Macalester has opened with a 7-3-5 (3-2-3 in the MIAC) record and stand 1-1-3 over the last five matches. Macalester averages 1.53 goals per match and allows just 1.27. The Scots have scored twenty-three goals, including five by Mia Brisbin, who has 10 points.

The Bennies, which has opened 2022 with 10 wins in 15 matches, have finished in the top four in eight of Kimble's 13 seasons. Kimble, who also serves as Assistant Athletic Director at CSB, is 138-76-26 overall at Saint Benedict with an 87-42-12 mark in conference play. CSB has recorded winning seasons in 12 of his 14 years with the program and has finished the year with a winning record 32 of the past 34 years. In his 14
th season, Kimble has coached three All-Americans, two MIAC Players of the Year, one MIAC Rookie of the Year, 18 All-Region athletes, 29 All-MIAC athletes and 19 All-MIAC Honorable Mention selections.
