ROCHESTER, Minn. – After setting a school record Friday night, the College of Saint Benedict swim and dive team recorded four more times in the top 10 in program history Saturday in the second day of the Rochester Invite.

The second day of finals started off fast for the Bennies as Jessica Milstroh, Jocie Larson, Emi Wagner and Ana Birklid teamed up to swim the third-best 200 free relay time in program history. The foursome finished sixth in 1:37.73 – less than a second shy of the school record. This marks the first top-10 time in the relay since the school record was set in 2016.

The night also ended with a top-10 time as Milstroh, Birklid and Wagner added Madison Slavik to their group and swam the eighth-best 400 medley relay time in CSB history. The group took 16th in the event in 4:03.85.

Milstroh and Slavik both moved into the top 10 individually as well Saturday evening. Milstroh finished 17th in the 100 breaststroke in a career-best time of 1:09.02 – the ninth-best time in program history. Slavik took 19th in the 100 backstroke in 1:00.07, and her prelim time of 1:00.06 is the 10th-best time in Saint Benedict history.

Emily Quill and Birklid both recorded top-10 individual finishes for the Bennies Saturday. Quill took seventh in the three-meter, 11-dive competition with a mark of 352.70. Sabrina Buffetta took 15th (243.90) and Claire Hippen finished 19th (162.00).
