ST. JOSEPH, Minn. – The College of Saint Benedict basketball team continues the nonconference season this week when it hosts University of Minnesota-Morris. The Blazers welcome the Cougars at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 22, in Claire Lynch Hall.

About Morris

Kate Banovetz led Saint Benedict with 15 points and 12 rebounds. Elli Stevenson and Kayla Kraemer both scored in double figures for Morris.

Newton was named the MVP of the Quinlivan & Hughes Tip-Off Tournament after averaging 15 points per game to help CSB finish 2-0.

This marks the first 3-0 start for Saint Benedict since 2013-14, and a win would mark the team's first 4-0 record since 2010-11. CSB looks to stay undefeated with a win over Morris before starting its conference season Wednesday, Nov. 30, when it hosts St. Catherine University at 7 p.m.
