Mike Durbin has announced the program's end-of-season awards, recognizing a strong year for several Bennies. The group helped lead the Bennies to a 16-9 overall record and an 11-7 mark in MIAC play, finishing tied for sixth in the conference. The Bennies have had 15 or more wins in a season five straight years and in nine of the past 11 seasons.
Kira Young
Team MVP – Kira Young (Hudson, Wis.)
Senior center
Kira Young earned Team MVP honors after finishing her career with an outstanding all-around season. A two-time Academic All-MIAC selection and two-time College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honoree, Young averaged 10.8 points and 5.7 rebounds per game while anchoring the defense with a team-best 19 blocked shots. An honorable mention All-MIAC selection in 2025-26, she also totaled 35 steals and 24 assists, shot 38.8 percent from the field and 75.5 percent from the free-throw line, and concluded her career with 735 points and 446 rebounds. Over four seasons, Young recorded 37 double-digit scoring games and earned All-MIAC honors twice, including a playoff team selection in 2025.
Alyssa Sadlovsky
Most Improved Player – Alyssa Sadlosky (Pierz, Minn.)
Sophomore Alyssa Sadlosky was named the team's Most Improved Player after a significant jump in production and playing time. She averaged 5.9 points, 2.2 rebounds and 0.8 assists during the 2025-26 season. After appearing in 14 games a year ago, Sadlosky played in 26 games this season, making 26 starts, while increasing her minutes per game from 3.9 to 23.8. She connected on 28-of-98 three-pointers (28.6 percent) and shot 70.4 percent (19-of-27) from the free-throw line.
Coaches Award – Megan Morgan (Winona, Minn.)
Megan Morgan received the Coaches Award following a strong senior season that was cut short due to injury after 16 games. She earned honorable mention All-MIAC honors after averaging 11.5 points and 4.9 rebounds per game, while making 21 three-pointers and shooting 85.4 percent (41-of-48) from the free-throw line.
Megan Morgan
A first-team All-MIAC selection in 2024-25 and honorable mention honoree in 2025-26, Morgan recorded 11 double-digit scoring games this season, including one 20-point performance. She finished her career with 866 points, 188 assists, 64 steals and 28 blocks in 95 games, while shooting 82.1 percent from the free-throw line. A two-time Academic All-MIAC honoree and College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selection, she totaled 41 career double-digit scoring games, including six of 20 or more points.
Additional Honors - Arnold wins DIII free throw title
Sophomores
Drew Buslee (Eagan, Minn.) and
Lauren Arnold (Chanhassen, Minn.) were named to the All-MIAC First Team, which pushed the total Saint Benedict All-MIAC honorees to 84 in program history.
Buslee averaged 12.4 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game, recording 18 double-digit scoring performances and three 20-point games. She also made 44 three-pointers and totaled 74 steals, ranking fifth all-time in program history.
Arnold captured the NCAA Division III free-throw percentage title after shooting 94.5 percent (75-for-79) during the 2025-26 season. Her mark ranked second across all NCAA divisions, trailing only Gonzaga's Allie Turner (95.6 percent). Arnold, who made her final 27 free throws of the season, helped Saint Benedict finish third nationally in team free-throw percentage at 77.1 percent — a program record.
For her career, Arnold has shot 91.5 percent (129-of-141) from the line while averaging 13.0 points per game, becoming the first national free-throw statistical champion in program history.
In terms of academic honors, Young, Buslee, Arnold and senior
Megan Driste (Sartell, Minn.) were also named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Team, bringing the program's all-time total to 22 selections. Young became just the fifth Bennie to earn the honor twice.
