High School: A 2014 graduate of the Academy of Holy Angels, Banovetz played basketball for four years and tennis and soccer for two. She earned all-conference accolades her sophomore through senior season and finished her career with more than 1,000 points. She also earned academic all-conference honors in tennis. Banovetz also played basketball for the Minnesota Angels Fury AAU team.
Personal: Banovetz is the daughter of Cindy and John Banovetz. She has two brothers, John and Matt, and enjoys tennis and basketball. She is undecided on a major.
