ST. PAUL, Minn. – The College of Saint Benedict volleyball team lost 3-0 to Northwestern College Friday night in nonconference play in St. Paul, Minn. The Eagles, who are ranked 24
th in Division III with an 18-3 record, won 25-13, 25-16 and 25-16.
CSB (8-9) finished the night with 23 kills to Northwestern's 45.
Liz Schultz and
Cami Hoover each had six kills to lead CSB, which hit .048 on the night.
Megan Pekarek had 18 assists and
Haley LaValley led the team with nine digs.
Northwestern hit .310 and had 12 total blocks and seven service aces.
Saint Benedict returns to action and gets back into MIAC play Saturday, Oct. 8, when it takes on St. Kate's in St. Paul, Minn.
