2014: Spent her first year of college eligibility at UW-Parkside, an NCAA Division II school in Kenosha, Wis. … appeared in 110 sets and led the team with 928 assists … averaged 8.44 assists per set … also recorded 58 kills, 14 services aces, 177 digs and 40 blocks … recorded a career-high 53 assists three times … 928 assists is the seventh-best single-season tally in Ranger history.

High School: A 2014 graduate of Osseo High School, Pekarek played volleyball for six years. She was a three-time all-conference pick, and earned all-area, all-state and all-metro honors as a senior. She was also named Aspire and Star Tribune Athlete of the Week. She helped the Orioles to a third-place finish at the 2013 Class AAA tournament, and was named the team MVP. She also played for the Minnesota Select club team.

Personal: Pekarek is the daughter of Rose and Scott Pekarek and she has three sisters: Rachel, Sarah and Hannah. Pekarek enjoys biking and hiking, and she is a computer science major with a math minor.
