The College of Saint Benedict Blazer volleyball team (13-6 overall, 5-1 MIAC) defeated conference opponent St. Olaf (10-11 overall, 2-4 MIAC) 3-2 Saturday afternoon in Northfield, Minn.
Saint Benedict came from behind in Saturday's match after losing the first two sets to defeat St. Olaf. The Oles took the first set 25-16 as they held the Blazers to a .062 kill percentage. CSB compiled 12 kills in the second set but came up short as St. Olaf won 25-21. The Blazers played strong volleyball to keep the match alive as they took the third set 25-20. During the third set, CSB held the Oles to a -.040 kill percentage. Saint Benedict won the fourth set to tie the match at 2-2. The Blazers had 11 kills and generated a .333 kill percentage as they held St. Olaf to a .176 kill percentage. CSB won the fifth set 15-12 to take the match and earned their fifth conference win. Saint Benedict held St. Olaf to a .000 kill percentage.
