2010: Rachel appeared in 58 sets, contributed 16 service aces and was third for CSB with 3.1 digs per set. She recorded double-digit digs in nine of her 18 matches played and recorded a season-high 24 digs on October 30 at Concordia-Moorhead. Rachel was named the team's Most Improved Player.
High School: A 2010 graduate of Maple Lake High School, Rachel was coached by Marty Kiebel. She participated in volleyball (five years), gymnastics (three years), and softball (five years). In volleyball, she was the team captain, All-Conference three years, All-Ccademic four years and holds school records for most career kills, career ace serves, and career digs. In gymnastics, Rachel was the team captain, state participant and All-State Honorable Mention. In softball, she was the team captain, four years All-Conference, state tournament participant, a member of the all-state tournament team and participated in the softball All-Star game.
Personal: Rachel is the daughter of Julie and Don Rachel of Maple Lake, Minn. She enjoys sports, rollerblading, shopping, running, being on the lake, and spending time with friends. She is majoring in Business Administration.
