ST. JOSEPH, Minn. - After a stellar showing in the sweep of Saint Mary's University Saturday, Oct. 17, College of Saint Benedict volleyball senior Kali Jones (Annandale, Minn./Annandale) earned The House/St. Cloud Orthopedics CSB Athlete of the Week honors Monday, Oct. 19. It is the second weekly accolade of the season for Jones, as she previously earned the honor Sept. 28. 

 

Across the three sets this week, Jones dominated with 15 kills, an average of five per set, on a monstrous .542 attack percentage, as she committed just two errors across 24 swings. Jones also added a team-high 13 digs, averaging 4.33 per set, to complete another double-double performance, along with three sets and a pair of blocks. Jones highlighted a CSB offense that finished with a whopping .394 attack percentage as a team, while holding SMU to a .141 clip. 

 

Jones and the Bennies return to action Friday, Oct. 23, at St. Olaf College. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Bob Gelle Court at Skoglund Center.
