The 23rd ranked College of Saint Benedict volleyball team (29-6) continues the NCAA Championships against 2nd ranked Emory University (32-6) on Thursday, November 20th at 6 pm in Bloomington, Illinois at Illinois Wesleyan University.
Saint Benedict won their regional in the first three matches of the tournament in St. Paul, MN. In the three matches against Simpson, Wisconsin-Eau Claire and Concordia, the Blazers have been led by junior outside hitter
Emma Jaynes (Hibbing, MN, Hibbing) (3.33 kills/set, 4.83 digs/set), first-year outside hitter
Chelsie Sobieck (Wyoming, MN, Forrest Lake) (3.17 k/s, 4.25 d/s) and junior setter
Beth Hanson (Fairbault, MN, Bethlehem Academy) (12.25 assists/set).
The Eagles feature junior outside hitter Alysse Meyer and first-year setter Natalie Schonefeld, who have averaged 3.49 k/set and 10.53 a/set throughout the entire season, respectively.
