2011: Sobieck appeared in 113 sets for the Blazers. She led the team in kills (355) and compiled 270 digs. Sobieck became the 11th person in Blazer history to reach 1,000 kills. She finished the season ranked 10th in the MIAC in kills. Sobieck was named team MVP.

2010: Sobieck appeared in all 111 sets for CSB.  She was second for the Blazers with 280 kills for 2.52 kills per set and fourth on the team with 2.12 digs for 2.12 digs per set.  Sobieck also recorded 23 blocks and added 22 service aces.  She recorded a career-high 16 kills against Carleton on October 6 and against Luther on October 2.

2009: Sobieck appeared in all 112 sets, totaling 243 kills for 2.17 kills per set.  She contributed 275 digs as well as 30 set assists, 27 service aces, and 21 blocks for the Blazers.  She was recognized as CSB Player of the Week on October 29.

2008: Sobieck made a huge impact in her first year.  She played 143 games and compiled 374 kills (2nd for CSB), 357 digs (4th for CSB), and 32 blocks (4th for CSB).  She was named to the Battle of the Borders All-Tournament team and received CSB Athlete of the Week honors (October 14). On November 4, she recorded a career high 23 kills against St. Mary's.

High School: A 2008 graduate of Forest Lake High School, Sobieck played volleyball for three years.  She received all-conference, all-state honorable mention honors and was team captain. Sobieck was all-conference in the high jump during her one season in track and field.

Personal: Sobieck is the daughter of Bob and Sue Sobieck of Wyoming, MN.  She enjoys sports and the outdoors.  Her major is elementary education with an emphasis in math.

What is your proudest moment of your career? 
“Playing for the Blazers for three seasons.”

What do you like about being a collegiate student-athlete? 
“Being able to be in school while playing volleyball, two things which are very important to me.”
