The College of Saint Benedict volleyball team (23-3 overall, 6-0 MIAC) cruised to a 4-0 record at the Border Battle Tournament, sharing the tournament championship with Concordia-Moorhead.
    In the final match of the tourney, the Blazers upended Coe College in three sets, winning 25-4, 25-17 and 25-17.
    Wartburg looked to prevail over Saint Benedict in the first match on Saturday, but CSB played with finesse and won in three sets, 25-20, 25-17, and 25-23.
    First-year hitter Chelsie Sobieck (Wyoming, MN, Forrest Lake) was the Blazers' all-tournament selection.
    CSB returns to conference play at Macalester on Wednesday, Oct. 15 at 7 p.m.
