ST. JOSEPH, Minn. - Senior
Kali Jones (Annandale, Minn./Annandale) of the College of Saint Benedict volleyball team was named The House / St. Cloud Orthopedics CSB Athlete of the Week Sept. 28, 2026. It is the third time in her decorated career that she has earned the honor.
Jones led the Saint Ben's offense in two matches over the week of Sept. 21, including a milestone performance Friday night, Sept. 25. In the match against Gustavus Adolphus College, Jones recorded her 1000th career kill, becoming the 16th player in program history to do so and just the eighth player to record 1000 career kills and digs. Jones is the first Bennie to record those numbers since Lexi Alm did so over her career from 2010-13.
For the week, Jones totaled 38 kills, an average of 3.80 per set on a .240 attack percentage, 29 digs, averaging 2.90 per set, three aces, three blocks and four assists. Jones started the week with a career-high 23 kills on an impressive .316 clip against Gustavus Adolphus. She added in 15 digs to complete the double-double, one block, an ace and an assist on her milestone night. The senior finished with a career-best 24.5 points in the contest. Jones followed with a 15-kill, 14-assist double-double performance at Hamline University Saturday, Sept. 26, adding in three assists, two aces and a pair of blocks.
Jones and the Bennies return to action Friday night, Oct. 2, as they host Macalester College for a 7 p.m. bout.
