ST. JOSEPH, Minn. - With one tournament remaining until the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Championships, the College of Saint Benedict golf team will participate in the Carleton Invite, hosted by Carleton College, Saturday-Sunday, Sept. 26-27. Saturday's round will begin at 12 p.m. at Oneka Ridge Golf Course, while Sunday will start at 10 a.m. at Fairbault Golf Course.
The Bennies enter off a fourth-place finish at the St. Kate's Fall Invite last week, Sept. 19-20. First-year Hallie Johnson (Red Wing, Minn./Red Wing) led the team with a 36-hole score of a career-low 149, finishing tied for eighth in the 77-person field. Junior
Sophia Anderson (Albany, Minn./Albany) tied for 13th with a two-round score of 153. Junior
Kenna Henriksen (Olivia, Minn./BOLD) finished the weekend in a tie for 21st behind a score of 156.
Anderson, Henriksen, Johnson, sophomore Layla Mathews (Becker, Minn./Becker) and junior Avery Maus (Kimball, Minn./Kimball Area) will make up CSB's squad. First-year
