WHITE BEAR LAKE, Minn. – The College of Saint Benedict golf team fell, 4-1.5, to St. Catherine in match play at the Rumble at the Ridge on Sunday.

#38 St. Catherine claimed three of the five individual matches to secure the team victory over #47 CSB in the competition at Oneka Ridge Golf Course.

In the opening match, Caylin Cantwell defeated Catherine Jance (Hopkins, Minn.) 7 & 5. The Bennies earned their lone win in match two, where Kenna Henriksen (Olivia, Minn.) posted a 3 & 2 victory over Lolia Magrann.

Maggie Roth (Rush City, Minn.) dropped a 5 & 2 decision to Raquel Ahren, while Arivia DeBoer defeated Sophia Anderson (Albany, Minn.), 6 & 5. In the final match, Emma Dobbins edged Taylar Nadler (Cottage Grove, Minn.), 1 up.

Saint Benedict wraps up its spring season April 25-26 at the St. Olaf/Carleton Spring Invite. The opening round will be played at Willingers Golf Club in Northfield, Minn., followed by the final round at Legacy Golf Course in Faribault, Minn.
