SARTELL, Minn. – The CSB golf team finished in 10th out of 13 teams after the second and final day of their home tournament at Blackberry Ridge. The Bennies shot a second round 335, shaving fifteen strokes off their team score from the first day, for a two day total of 685.  

Carleton took home the first-place title with a two-day score of 623, followed by St. Kate's taking the runner up position with a score of 630 and Bethel taking third with a total score of 633.  

Sophomore Sami Boerboom led the Bennies with the low round of the day, knocking eleven strokes off her first day score, shooting an 81 for a two-day total of 173 and putting her tied for 34th. Sophomore Georgia Hinton carded a second day 83 for a total of 171 and tied for 28th individually.  

Junior Emily Renner brought in a second day score of 84 for a two-day total of 169 to lead the teams totals and put her tied for 25th. First year Maggie Roth matched her first day score, carding another 87 on day two for a total score of 174 and a tie for 37th individually. Rounding out the top five scorers was first year Jamie Bimberg, who carded a round two 88, for a two-day total of 178 and a tie for 51st.  

The Bennies who played as individuals for the tournament also finished out their second round today. Junior Hayden Boelter shot a second round 92 for a total score of 186. First year Donelle Decker shot a 93 to bring her two-day total to 183, and sophomore Halle Strunk shot a second round 96 for a total of 182.  

Carleton's Carter Sichol earned the individual title, shooting an even par 72 both days for a total score of 144. Bethel's Anna Tollefson and Greta McArthur tied for second place with two-day scores of 153.  

Next up for CSB golf, the team travels to Eau Claire, Wisconsin for a two-day tournament on September 10th & 11th.
